MY APPROACH

Home Office

My counselling is grounded in attachment theory and integrates strategies and tools from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for individuals, couples, and families, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
I work with individuals aged 10 and older, as well as couples and families, supporting a broad range of concerns. My areas of focus include anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, parent–child relationships (with both youth and adult children), and challenges experienced by transgender and gender-diverse people and their families.

Using a healing-centred approach, I see you as more than the experiences or trauma you’ve been through. Together, we focus on your strengths, your story, and the ways your culture and environment have shaped you. Healing is not a quick fix, it’s a journey that unfolds over time.
I strive to create a counselling space that is safe, respectful, and non-judgmental. Through collaborative conversations and thoughtful questions, I aim to minimize assumptions, promote validation, and foster deeper self-understanding. I believe you are the expert of your life and with a strong focus on what is going right with you and the inclusion of hope and imagination I support you to develop a stronger connection with yourself, gain meaningful insight, and build strategies that continue to support you throughout your life.
